Welcome! My name is Zak, and I am an amateur bowler, a pro shop worker, and the owner of the ZVL Bowling social media pages. I break down every aspect of the sport of bowling for all to understand, appreciate, and learn from!

I've been bowling for 10 years and in that time, I've developed a deep interest in bowling balls, ball motion, and really everything about the equipment side of the sport. Somewhere along the way, I realized there was a huge gap between what bowlers want to know and how confusing the information on the internet is. So I started creating the content I wished would have existed when I first joined the sport: clear, honest, and useful advice.

My goal is to bring you straightforward explanations on ALL things bowling, whether that be layouts, ball guides, coaching tips, or anything in between!

When I'm not creating content, I'm either working at my local pro shop (Champion's Pro Shop in Owatonna, MN), taking a break from bowling by playing video games (Pokemon and Nintendo games are #1), or spending time with my wife (May 2026)! Formerly, I spent a lot of my time being a software developer at an insurance company, but now am a full-time content creator!
